Who We Are ?

The Centre for Narendra Modi Studies (CNMS – NaMo Kendra) is an independent global research centre where eminent leaders, intellectuals, thinkers, social reformers, educators convene to address the multifaceted challenges confronting the nation and to devise a strategic roadmap for Bharat’s emergence as a global power. The Centre is dedicated to analyse the dynamics and prospects of Bharat’s governance and to comprehend the nuances of Bharat in its global milieu through the prism of its advancing civilization. NaMo Kendra engages in a broad spectrum of scholarly pursuits in various governance-related fields such as human rights, public policy, international relations, environmental politics, innovation, technology policy, climate change, global governance, conflict resolution, national security, leadership and diplomacy. CNMS aims to bring together India’s brightest minds to discuss critical national and international issues, support initiatives that promote peace and global harmony, and track social, economic, and political trends impacting the nation’s unity and integrity. NaMo Kendra also examines the root causes of social and ethnic conflicts leading to extremism and suggests policy alternatives. CNMS provides institutional support for dialogue among conflicting groups and critiques public policy and the functioning of democratic institutions and constitutional bodies. Additionally, it develops benchmarks for good governance and the effectiveness of public institutions. These objectives broadly fall under “nation-building” and are often within the scope of universities and higher education institutions.
